Y- Yoga (A to Z Blogging Challenge.)

For me yoga is not about meditating because that I guess that does not works for me. Meditation works for me when I am painting and somehow I feel when I don’t paint, there is no peace of mind for me. Just like these days when I am busy with house chores plus Ramdan is going on, neither am I able to read any book nor paint.

Because of which I feel lost and I sleep with a heavy heart. Recently, I tried to paint but could not paint because one I was tired, and two I was forcing my self to paint. So you see, painting is like meditation for me, if I am trying to be hard on my self painting becomes difficult for me. If I am over thinking or being messy in my head I don’t paint as it affects my painting.

Yoga is something I wish to learn because my body is too stiff which even my trainer complains when I am in the gym… I really wish to make my body flexible and especially wish to do the upside down pose, the headstand. I am looking forward when will this quarantine end and when will I re-start going to the gym and ask my trainer to help me out with some yoga and especially the head stand one.

Yoga develops strength, flexibility, you learn to balance your body, stretch it enough and also I believe yoga helps in concentration power. It helps you to stay focused and helps you build your concentration power if you are having issues with it. As you see the headstand pose is a tricky and difficult one, you need complete concentration plus you also need to balance your body accordingly.

It’s all about feeling every inch of your body, concentration, and letting go off all those stress your body is holding on too. Yoga will help to release tension, let your body get into flexible, will release some body/muscle pain like I keep getting back pains as I mostly work on a computer and my back aches…

I really hope this year if at all this year has anything good to give us, I hope to make this one wish come true and work towards making my body a bit flexible…

  1. You should learn Yoga, I am into this since long time and it has helped me.
    During this lockdown I started yoga again – easy way to be fit and healthy.
