W- Write Every day

“Just write every day of your life. Read intensely. Then see what happens. Most of my friends who are put on that diet have very pleasant careers.”

― Ray Bradbury

One most important thing I everyday regret not doing is writing something in my journal/diary. I feel when it comes to writing, it should be real and something that comes from within your heart, and that I am rarely doing these days.

But as I have discussed in my previous post that I am planning to take a break from social media and blogging for a month, I hope and wish to get back to some real writing and continue to do so.

Writing every day helps you to stay calm, it keeps your messy thoughts away, you tend to have a better writing flow and also your writing style improves. As a writer, you evolve.

One needs to dedicate one particular time to just writing and that time should be only for writing every single day. There should be no holiday for writing and honestly, I feel if you are a writer you would not even wish to have one.

There are days when one won’t feel to write, the inner demons will start working up and try to pull you down. But you still have to write and fight back those demons. So write every day, read every day are some goals I wish to work on and accomplish this year.

Are you a writer? Do you write every day? Care to share some tips and thoughts?

  1. Good luck to you! I hope you create something that you love. I wrote every day for 30 days recently, and although it really helped get my creativity flowing, I don’t think I’d put pressure on myself to do it all the time. I think it depends on your situation though – if you have a full time job it can be a bit full on, but if you have a little more time to spare then why not!!
