I- Inspiration

“If You Are Working On Something That You Really Care About, You Don’t Have To Be Pushed. The Vision Pulls You.” – Steve Jobs

We all look for inspirations and want to be someone who is looked up to as an inspiration to someone. I have some tips for both, to find inspiration as well as to be an inspiration to someone out there.

But in both ways there is one thing in common, i.e HARD-WORK.

You cannot just sit on your couch and scroll through your social sites and find something inspiring. Actually, you do get inspired that way, but what after that? Just hit the follow button and like the respective person or brand’s pictures and keep thinking wow! this is amazing, this really is an inspiration to me. But what after that? Is that it?

How do you make that inspiration in use? By action of course. By doing something to at least be close to your idols who are your inspirations and that’s how you, your self will become an inspiration to someone. It’s like a chain you see. Get inspired and then be an inspiration.

Having a dream is easy, everyone has dreams. But by just having dreams is not what will make you different. Trying to work on those dreams will make you different, believing in those dreams and giving your all to make it come true makes you different and that is what makes you stand out from the crowd and makes you an inspiring person.

We often say, I am finding inspiration. To be honest, inspiration is all around us, when you look at your self in the mirror make sure to look at that person who is still alive, still trying to make ends meet, still trying everything to just survive or fighting every odds to make dreams and wishes come true, that person itself is an inspiration for you today, the person who strongly battled all the storms of yesterday is an inspiration for you today.

“Knowing Is Not Enough; We Must Apply. Wishing Is Not Enough; We Must Do.” – Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Our parents who give up so much for us, who keeps giving small sacrifices for us, are our inspiration. Our friends who themselves are/must be going through a lot in life are our inspiration.

Sometimes even after having many examples of inspirations around us we still feel it’s not giving us the feel of motivationto actually make a difference, to actually do the work and stop the procastination. So what do we do?

Try to indulge in some changes in life, like go for a morning or evening walk in a park, be around nature. Nature can bring a great impact on your mood and inspire you in many ways. Just make sure to be an observer.

Try to indulge with people who bring good and positive vibe around you, if you have no such group or friends, then look for positive books and podcasts or videos on You tube.

“We Generate Fears While We Sit. We Overcome Them By Action.” – Dr. Henry Link

I get inspired by people who are working full-time, then blogging, taking care of their usual daily chores and making ends meet, trying to work on their dreams each day, when people are organized and well-informed it really inspires me of how much knowledge can one person have. I get very inspired by bloggers, writers, well organized, well-maintained, readers, the number of good books people read and people who have a positive and very different perspective in life and the list goes on…

I don’t know if I am an inspiration to anyone, but I am trying my best to be my own, so that someday when I get old and look back at my life, I want to make sure that I pat myself for all the hurdles I came through valiantly, and be proud of myself.

What about you?Are you trying to be your own inspiration?
